Ectoplasmes 5x2 is a creative laboratory held in 2 places over 3 days. First, Manon Labrecque and Martin Tétreault will present a performative installation at the PRIM gallery on November 25 and 26, 2005. Lastly, on November 27, 2005, a night of actions, projections and performances will be held at the Société des arts technologiques, featuring the artists Pierre-André Arcand, Mario Côté, Alexis Bellavance, Hugo Girard, Nikki Forrest, Nelly-Ève Rajotte in addition to {nbio:labrecque_ma} and {nbio:tetreault_ma}.

Part of L’OFF Jazz events in Rimouski (Québec), Martin Tétreault and his French guests Jean-Luc Guionnet and Pascal Battus will play at the Paralœil gallery in Rimouski on August 26, 2005 and at La Capitainerie in Matane on August 27, 2005.

Recorded during a residency at the Studio 12 of Montréal’s Maison de Radio-Canada, Labo MTL gathers three atypic improvisers for an exceptional session: Martin Tétreault on turntables, the electronic processings of Kaffe Matthews and Léon Lo (aka Helen of Troy) on violin.

Document 4 is the 4th project in Lynda Gaudreau’s Encyclopoedia suite and Martin Tétreault will be producing the live mix composition with 5 turntables. The work will be presented at the Kunstencentrum Vooruit in Gent (Belgium) on April 12 and 13, 2005 and will also be presented by Dans in Kortrijk for the ATTACK! festival on April 14, 2005 at the Limelight in Kortrijk (Belgium).

Two years after their first album, liberum arbitrium, the eletcronic noise duet morceaux_de_machines is back with Estrapade. On this new opus, they are joined by Diane Labrosse (sampler), Martin Tétreault and Yoshihide Otomo (turntables). Moreover, post-production and mastering was entrusted to maximalist composer Paul Dolden.

Martin Tétreault and Otomo Yoshihide are back! After 1. Grrr, dedicated to the more noisy moments of their European tour, here is the second release of this trilogy of extreme turntablism, 2. Tok, this time filled with the most abstract moments.
