The four poets José Acquelin, Léon Guy Dupuis, Bertrand Laverdure, and Yannick Renaud with “turntablist” Martin Tétreault will give a live public reading embellished by the Cuban spirit as part of the Quebecuba event. It will take place from May 27 to June 1, 2007 in Havana (Cuba).

Thanks to Christian Dugas’s participation on drums, Martin Tétreault will present Solo de batterie sur vinyles avec 4 tourne-disques, followed by a short improvisation with Andrew Liles, on May 12, 2007 at Send + Receive Festival in Winnipeg.

100% Batterie! is a project imagined by Martin Tétreault and realized with the participation of Michel Langevin (Voivod), Marc-Olivier Bédard, Lydia Champagne (Terracine), Alex Groussset, Alexander MacSween, Jean-Sébastien Nicol (Gatineau), Danielle Palardy Roger, and Pierre Tanguay. The drummers will successively play the same solo inspired by a score written by Martin Tétreault that uses different sections of a Liverpool mythical drum player’s repertoire. At the end of the evening the musicians will get together to play a piece for 9 drums and 4 turntables. This event takes place on April 12, 2007 at the La Sala Rossa, Montréal. L’oreille à Vincent will take place on March 21, 2007 at the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal. This event features Jean-Pierre Gauthier (sound sculptures), Diane Labrosse (sampler), Martin Tétreault (turntable), Michel F Côté (electronic percussion), Christof Migone (electronics) and the Duo Travagliando formed by Jean-Pierre Gauthier and Mirko Sabatini. L’oreille à Vincent is a Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal and Productions SuperMusique collaboration.

The video Actions (9) from the installation Exercices de neutralité by Manon Labrecque and Martin Tétreault was awarded the Prix à la création artistique du Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ). This prize was presented during the 25th Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois.
