Martin Tétreault will take part in the Digifest 2008: Water’s Edge — Catastrophe Trauma Possibility on March 30, 2008 at the Ontario Science Centre in Toronto. He will present Audio-O-Catastrophes I & II — Audio Autopsy Inside the Secret Activities of the Turntable, a performance accompanying a montage of large-framed projections realized by Ingo Gunther, Melissa Shiff, Cathy Gordon, Henk Hofstra and others.

Lori Freedman, René Lussier, and Martin Tétreault will give a performance as part of the Revolutions: Turning the Tables on DJ Culture mini-festival that will take place in Waterloo (Ontario) from March 13 to 15.

Poets José Acquelin, Léon Guy Dupuis, Bertrand Laverdure, and Yannick Renaud will be accompanied by Martin Tétreault (turntable, thingamajig) and Roberto López during the Quebecuba ¡poesía y ritmos! show. Presented as part of La Quinzaine de la poésie de Montréal, this event will take place on March 18, 2008, at Maison de la culture Frontenac.

The next Mercredimusics will host Joane Hétu, Pierre-Yves Martel, and Martin Tétreault on March 5, 2008 at Casa Obscura in Montréal.

As part of The Montréal High Lights Festival’s Montréal All-Nighter event, Bernard Falaise, Martin Tétreault and Giselle Webber will take part in the Cabina Obscura on March 1, 2008 from 10:30 pm at Cinérobothèque. John Blouin, Albert Roberge, and François Boulé will perform live from the projection room and the aforementioned musicians will design sound environment. (By the way, have you ever listened to the excellent Copie zéro… with similar themes.)

Finally! The albums of our best artists appearing in the Coda Magazine’s “Top 10” are now announced: Mike Chamberlain (Montréal) has included Phon-O-Victo by Martin Tétreault and Kid Koala, and in the Performance Highlights category Trio Derome Guilbeault Tanguay. As for Ken Waxman (Toronto), he has included Visions fugitives op. 22 by Quartetski. Yeah!
