A new comic book has just been released at Éditions Mécanique générale: Le Piano de neige by the very versatile artist Robert Marcel Lepage. Furthermore, you can meet him in Aubagne (France) on March 21 to 31, 2007, where he will give master classes on film music.

The Guelph Jazz Festival (Ontario) will take place from September 6 to 10, 2006. We will hear pianist Marilyn Lerner on September 6, and Robert Marcel Lepage will present his project Pee Wee et moi on September 7. Famed trumpet player Bill Dixon and double bass master Joëlle Léandre will share the stage on September 8. Alson, Lori Freedman will join the Guelph Youth Jazz Ensemble on September 9.

Today the Fondation SPACQ has awarded six prizes of excellence to composers and authors. The Prix Richard Grégoire for film and television music was awarded to Robert Marcel Lepage. The composer has created over one hundred scores for documentaries, television series, animation films, short films, and feature films.
