Winners of the National Jazz Awards Canada 2006 were announced on April 11, 2006. The Trio Derome Guilbeault Tanguay was nominated as “Acoustic Group of the Year.” Moreover, Jean Derome was nominated as “Saxophonist of the Year” and Pierre Tanguay as “Drummer of the Year.”
