    On March 3, 2009, Mardi Spaghetti will celebrate it’s one year anniversary! And what a first year it has been: 48 concerts featuring more than 100 artists from Montréal, Canada and abroad!

    Mardi Spaghetti is a weekly series for creative music in Montréal. Leaning heavily on improvisation, each Tuesday at Le Cagibi features musicians and artists from the worlds of new music, jazz, noise, rock, sound art, dance, musique actuelle, early music, and more. Curated by Ellwood Epps, Philippe Lauzier, Pierre-Yves Martel and Joshua Zubot.

    The Murray Street Band, led by drummer John Heward, includes a number of Montréal’s most exciting improvisers. With musicians with backgrounds in free improv, new music, noise, punk, (post)-rock, world beat and jazz, the Murray Street Band’s sonic celebrations are bound to please and last long into the night! The concert takes place on February 26, 2009, at Casa del Popolo in Montréal.
