Thursday September 4, 2003, Lori Freedman and Nicolas Caloia takes the stage for an improvised night of intense and creative activity!

Inspired by Normand Guilbeault’s Riel, Plaidoyer musical / Musical Plea, filmmaker Sylvie van Brabant has directed the documentary Sur les traces de Riel. Normand Guilbeault and Rose Fleury (a 75-year old Metis) travel to Batoche in Saskatchewan in swearch of the genuine history of a people and of Louis Riel. A true “Road Movie” orchestrated around {nbio:guilbeault_no}’s music whith concert excerpts and interviews. The further celebrate these productions both film (VHS) and the 2CD set have their price reduced by 15%.

First of two weekends where NOMA invades La Sala Rossa (Montréal) for the recording of what will become their next album. Presented in part by SuperMusique, in the “SuperOption” concert series, the November 7 and 8, 2002 concerts will showcase, in addition to the usual NOMA musicians (Guy Kaye, François Chauvette, Al Bakulis, Rainer Wiens, Thom Gossage, Normand Guilbeault and Tom Walsh), Martha Wainwright and Michael J Browne who will sing the band’s latest songs (and a few surprises…).
