Created in 1999 by and for the Fanfare Pourpour, the Monsieur Fauteux, m’entendez-vous? label has been launched thanks to this collective of street musicians. Now, under the impulse of Bernard Grenon, this young label is beginning to assert itself on the independent market, presenting original music CDs at a low price. An autenthic bunch of Québec gypsies, Monsieur Fauteux, m’entendez-vous? artists represent an entire musical current of the Montréal underground scene all by themselves.
