Martin Tétreault is the next guest of MAC’s Nocturnes. He will present the concert version of La nuit où j’ai dit non on Friday October 5, 2007. You can see him again with Les Moyens Moineaux (René Lussier and Pierre Lavoie) on Monday October 8 at Le Cheval blanc in Montréal.

Guido Del Fabbro will launch his album Agrégats on Monday October 8, 2007 at Le Divan orange in Montréal. His new 13 pieces-album is orchestrated for acoustic instruments with a touch of electronics, and performed by a shapeshifting ensemble. It also proposes a repertoire which has a foot in traditional folk music and another in avant-rock territory. Agrégats is an intense work performed by an unmatched ensemble, whose conductor will definitely surprise you.

Tim Brady will give two solo performances and a workshop during the Output Festival in Amsterdam (Netherlands). This event will take place from September 27 to 30, 2007. The day before, a portrait concert under percussionnist Dennis Kuhn direction will take place at the Kulturzentrum Alte Feurwache in Mannheim (Germany).

The Conseil des arts de Montréal en tournée and L’OFF Festival de Jazz de Montréal present the Trio Damian Nisenson + 2 (Pierre Tanguay, Jean Félix Mailloux and Damián Nisenson + Ziya Tabassian and Denis Plante) in 7 “Maisons de la culture” of Montréal this automn. The next concert will take place at Maison de la culture Montréal-Nord, on Saturday September 15, 2007. Admission is free… Not to miss!

The Fanfare Pourpour will rock your dreams during the Siestes musicales event of Les escales improbables de Montréal. Meet them at sunset from September 14 to 16, 2007 at Jardin Eau-Canada, close to King-Edward pier… free admission. Note the presence of composer Benoît Delbecq at the Escales de nuit, on September 14th and 15th.

The performance will take place on Friday September 14, 2007 at SAT in Montréal. Moreover, from September 10 to 23 {nbio:tetreault_ma} will be in artist in residence at SAT. This residence will conclude with a public performance on September 23.
