The Fanfare Pourpour will be in concert at event Nuit blanche sur tableau noir, on June 11, 2010, at 6:30pm; and also, on June 12, 2010, it will play as part of the Péristyle Nomade at 6:30pm.

Lori Freedman is leaving for Europe at the end of May for a series of concerts with Nexus, Trio Law and solo. She will be at Amsterdam, at La Haye (Pays-Bas), at Cologne (Allemagne) and at Paris (France). Details are available on her webpage.

Be on the lookout for the Festival des musiques de création (FMC), a festival taking place in Jonquière (Quebec) from May 20 to 29, 2010. amongst the artists performing, you’ll hear Miriodor, Jean Derome et les Dangereux Zhoms, Ugly Beauties, The Rent, Vulgarités with Isaiah Ceccarelli and Michel F Côté and finally Les temps qui courent a project that brings together Jean Derome, Martin Tétreault and Frank Martel around the songs of Nathalie Derome…

On May 20, 2010, at 9pm, you will hear three excellent musicians at L’envers: The Rent, Maria Chavez and Seeded Plain.

The group The Rent will launch Musique de Steve Lacy at Tranzac in Toronto on Friday May 14, 2010. Also in the concert are Nous perçons les oreilles and Hat & Beard.
