A new solo album from Miriodor/Klaxon Gueule guitarist Bernard Falaise. S’enfouir is 100% solo, which means that it is more like Do than like Clic. However, Falaise plays more than just guitar on it, so the sound palette is wider here than on Do. Twenty short pieces (none crosses the three-minute barrier), rather bleak and confined moods, though Falaise’s humour rears its head in several places. Careful work on the arrangements and track sequence make S’enfouir a 20-movement suite instead of a collection of unrelated tracks. A fascinating record.
