The next Mercredimusics will feature Joane Hétu, Éric Normand, Brigitte Lacasse, Robert Bastien and Danielle Palardy Roger on October 29, 2008 at Casa Obscura in Montréal.

Recorded live at the Festival des musiques de création in Jonquière (Québec) and at La Sala Rossa in Montréal, Danielle Palardy Roger and Fred Frith release Pas de deux, one of Ambiances Magnétiques’ latest titles. A first encounter between two master improvisers, Pas de deux faithfully communicates the energy and telepathy experienced by these two musicians.

The last part of Little Métis triptych by Danielle Palardy Roger — Who Knows — will be premiered by the Ensemble contemporain de Montréal conducted by Véronique Lacroix as part of the concert Les Marquises that will take place on Wednesday May 14, 2008 (7:30 pm) at the Salle Pierre-Mercure in Montréal. Amongst guest soloists: Diane Labrosse and Michel F Côté on electronics.

Productions SuperMusique, as part of the Montréal/Nouvelles Musiques, will take part in the “Série Hommage” Claude Vivier and will celebrate the creator… premiering new pieces! On programme, works by Michel F Côté, Diane Labrosse, Giorgio Magnanensi, and Danielle Palardy Roger; on scene a 12-musician Ensemble SuperMusique!
