    Meet up with Espaces sonores illimités (ESI), Jean Derome, Bernard Falaise, Lori Freedman, Pierre Labbé, Diane Labrosse, Pierre Tanguay, and light designer Eric Belley in a musical improvised work entitled Spatio lumino. This performance will take place on Saturday February 24, 2007 at the Société des arts technologiques, in Montréal, as part of the opening show of the 3rd Montréal/Nouvelles musiques (MNM) festival.

    The last release of Joane Hétu, Nouvelle musique d’hiver, which you may want to listen to while watching a bonfire, is a real audio documentary about winter constructed in four sections: Joyeux temps, Être dans le vent, La marmotte, and Calcium sloche. You will hear the musicians of the Ensemble SuperMusique (Jean Derome, Guillaume Dostaler, Joane Hétu, Diane Labrosse, Pierre Tanguay), Lori Freedman, Martin Tétreault, and Gilles Derome in thrilling improvisations.

    December 1 – 3, 2006: DAME Artists in Rimouski

    Many DAME artists will participate to the third Rencontres de musiques spontanées (RMS3), held in Rimouski (Québec) from December 1 — 3, 2006. On December 1, Catherine S Massicotte, Brigitte Lacasse and Éric Normand will present their project Minus 3 followed by Érick d’Orion and his latest audio creation Téléphonie cellulaire. On December 2 a second double feature will be presented, this time with Les gars trans (a band featuring Frank Martel, Robin Servant and Éric Normand) and Cabina obscura featuring John Blouin and Bernard Falaise. Sunday, December 3 will see the launch of a new CD, 10 situations précaires, by James Darling, Lori Freedman, Gabriel Dionne, and Diane Labrosse. The CD launch will be followed by a presentation of Khôra, a work by Jean-François Laporte interpreted by Martin Ouellet.
