Reading of texts of poet Paul-Marie Lapointe on May 25-26, 2009 at Lion d’Or in Montréal with musicians Bernard Falaise and Jean Derome.

The quartet featuring Philippe Lauzier (saxophone and bass clarinet), Miles Perkin (double bass), Robbie Kuster (drums), Bernard Falaise (guitar electric) will be performing at Cheval blanc in Montréal on March 31, 2009, as part of the Jazz sur mars series.

The next Mercredimusics will feature Jean Derome, Lori Freedman, Bernard Falaise, André Duchesne as well as Coat Cooke (Vancouver) et Paul Cram (Halifax) on December 3, 2008 at Casa Obscura in Montréal.

Pointe-à-Callière presents the 15th edition of the Port Symphonies on March 1 and 8, 2009 (at 1:30 pm) with an new work by Bernard Falaise inspired by pirates, corsairs and bucaneers!

On February 7, 2009, Poètes publics will be in concert at La Sala Rossa in Montréal for the Festival Voix d’Amériques. A shape-shifting ensemble that unites dozens of poets, performers and musicians with a desire to work and explore together in an improvisational context, Poètes publics will feature for this occasion musicians Bernard Falaise, Diane Labrosse, Martin Tétreault, Michel F Côté and Guido del Fabbro, rapper-improviser Khyro and poet-performers Catherine Lalonde, Renée Gagnon, Danny Plourde, Geneviève Blais and D. Kimm. Also, on February 13, Frank Martel and Nathalie Derome will be featured at the Cabaret DADA Surréaliste, the festival’s closing night concert.
