Michel F Côté who doesn’t need to be presented will launch his newest album (juste) Claudette on October 15, 2007 at Cheval blanc in Montréal. The day after, on October 16, the trio Fenaison will launch its Plat of free structures and contemporary sonorities, at same place.

1300 subscribers haved voted and choosen the winners of TNM’s Prix Gascon-Roux in 7 different categories. Amongst them, Michel F Côté was awarded for his work as sound designer in the piece Incendies. This production seemed to have truly seduced its public: [mouawad_wa] was awarded the price for directing the piece, and Éric Champoux for its lighting design.

The next Mercredimusics will host Jean Derome (alto saxophone, flute, small instrument), Nadia Francavilla (violin), Gordon M Allen (trumpet) et Michel F Côté (amplified percussion) on April 11, 2007 at Casa Obscura in Montréal. L’oreille à Vincent will take place on March 21, 2007 at the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal. This event features Jean-Pierre Gauthier (sound sculptures), Diane Labrosse (sampler), Martin Tétreault (turntable), Michel F Côté (electronic percussion), Christof Migone (electronics) and the Duo Travagliando formed by Jean-Pierre Gauthier and Mirko Sabatini. L’oreille à Vincent is a Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal and Productions SuperMusique collaboration.

Michel F Côté and Martin Tétreault are some of the artists invited at the Mois Multi event in Québec City. Amongst the different shows, you can see them perform in the “Cabaret Audio” series of live sound explorations on February 9 to 24, 2007.
