On April 11, 2008, Lori Freedman will be in concert with the new sextet Ensemble Transmission ({nbio:pelletier_gu}, {nbio:merkel_cl}, {nbio:hannigan_sh}, {nbio:poulin_br}, {nbio:gray_d}). The ensemble will present two different programmes, focussing on the contemporary repertoire of Italian composers. It will take place at La Chapelle in Montréal.

The next Mercredimusics will host Rémy Bélanger de Beauport, Nicolas Caloia, Lori Freedman, and John Heward on April 9, 2008 at Casa Obscura in Montréal.

Isaiah Ceccarelli, Lori Freedman, Nicolas Lessard, Pierre-Yves Martel, and Pemi Paull will be at Le Cagibi on Tuesday April 8, 2008 as part of the Mardi spaghetti weekly series for creative music.

• April 6: world premiere of Le mensonge et l’identité played by Bozzini Quartet as part of the Deutschlandfunk: Forum Neue Musik 2008;
• April 10: concert at Lovelite, Berlin;
• April 12: concert at Bunker Ulmenwall, Bielefeld;
• April 14: concert at Café Journal, Köln.

Improvising Montréal Series will host Ben Grossman, Gordon M Allen, and Pierre-Yves Martel on Thursday April 3, 2008 at Casa del Popolo in Montréal.
