Martin Tétreault will be touring in France from April 19 to May 5, 2008:

• April 19: in solo at Abbaye Saint-André’s Centre d’art contemporain in Meymac;
• April 20-24: in studio with French turntablist eRikm;
• April 26: in duo with eRikm at Appleboom La Pommerie in Saint-Sétiers;
• April 29: in solo at GRIM in Marseille;
• May 2: in duo with eRikm at Théâtre Garonne in Toulouse;
• May 3: with {bio:Heddy Boubaker and Sébastien Ciroteau at La Maison Peinte in Toulouse;
• May 5: in duo with eRikm at Instants chavirés in Montreuil.

4 artistes pour 2 disc-jockeys performance imagined by Martin Tétreault will star David Lafrance and D Julied mixing works by Diane Morin, Rober Racine, Jean-Pierre Gauthier, and Manon Labrecque… Blake Hargreaves will cut some 12-inch records of those mixes on Plexiglas. The event will take place on April 19, 2008 at the Auditorium of Grande Bibliothèque (Montréal) as part of the CQAM’s «10 ans d’arts médiatiques en 3 prises».

The Ensemble Ad Hoc, bringing together 6 outstanding musicians selected throughout Canada (Guillaume Bourque, Christine Duncan, Jean Félix Mailloux, Jean Martin, Dani Oore, Jesse Zubot), will be on stage on April 18-19, 2008 as part of the La Chapelle’s Musiques nouvelles series. On April 19, a public rehearsal followed by disccusion about improvisation, and a jam session will precede the evening concert (4:30 to 6 pm).

Gordon M Allen, Philippe Lauzier, Pierre-Yves Martel, Garth Stevenson, Jesse Zubot, and Joshua Zubot will be at Le Cagibi on Tuesday April 15, 2008 as part of the Mardi spaghetti weekly series for creative music.

The next Mercredimusics will host Gordon M Allen, Michel F Côté, Lori Freedman, and Diane Labrosse on April 16, 2008 at Casa Obscura in Montréal.

The Jean-Marc Hébert quartet (with Marie-Soleil Bélanger, Christophe Papadimitriou et Pierre Tanguay) will be at Dièse onze on Monday April 10, 2008 with special guest saxophonist Damián Nisenson.
