Damián Nisenson and his guests (Tanguay, Mailloux, Tsou, Goldenschneider, Horvey) will offer a “film & music evening” dedicated to George Méliès’s short silent films. It’s on May 7, 2008, at Casa Obscura in Montréal.

Michel F Côté, Mike Essoudry, Pierre-Yves Martel, Simon Trottier, and Linsey Wellman will be, on Tuesday May 6, 2008, at Le Cagibi as part of the Mardi spaghetti weekly series for creative music.

On Friday May 2, 2008 Bob & quelques unstable friends will be at the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal’s Beverley Webster Rolph hall. It seems that, this time, there will be at least 10 people bustling so as to shape songs inverted by the bobien repertoire (o-o?). We can also read that: “In addition to Éric Bernier and Michel F Côté, 4 harden musicians plus 4 cracked Go-go boys will be on-stage in order to give credit to fickleness. Last but not least, the 11th member, who is as moody as everyone else, will appear in one way or another”… Wow.

Lori Freedman will be soloist alongside Lorraine Desmarais during the upcoming OSM concert conducted by David Robert Coleman. The concert American Legends will take place on April 29, 2008 at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier at Place des Arts in Montréal. On programme, works by Leonard Bernstein, Astor Piazzolla, George Gershwin, Alberto Ginastera and the premiere of a new work by David Robert Coleman. To wit: concert is already sold out.

In a recent press release we could read that “The MAI presents Éclats nocturnes, a multidisciplinary event, as part of the Accès Asie Festival. This collectively created piece uses Khosro Berahmandi’s enigmatic and meditative paintings as point of departure: performer and choreographer Geneviève La, musicians Shuni Tsou, Ziya Tabassian, Nicolas Caloia, and filmmaker Shahin Parhami will perform this unique kaleidoscopic work dedicated to the feminine.” The event takes place from May 1-3, 2008 at MAI.
