Diane Labrosse, Martin Tétreault, and Haco meet again for a Lunch in Nishinomiya, a series of electronic improvisations recorded in Japan in 2003 and reworked over the internet. Lunch in Nishinomiya is truly a nourishing meal of music!

DAME is proud to launch Collection QB’s second release, Steve Reich: Different Trains, a Steve Reich composition, performed by Bozzini Quartet. A major work of the Steve Reich corpus, Different Trains (1988) announced a new compositional method, taking its source from his previous tape works It’s Gonna Rain (1965), and Come Out (1966).

With Michel F Côté, we never know what to expect! This time, his new project is nothing less than a gunfight at the OK Corral, and no one knows who, between country or actuelle music, will walk away the winner… Flat fourgonnette (Mescal Free Style) (that can be very rougly translated as “Flat pick-up truck (Mescal free style)”), is Michel F Côté’s attempt at “american” music: hybrid, unpredictable and funny.

Ambiances Magnétiques follows up on its exploration of Italian new music with the release of AnteNata, a sextet devoted to the strong voices of lost poetess. Formed around the collaboration of Sabina Meyer and Daniela Cattivelli, this ensemble from Bologna reaches an interesting equilibrium between the rock and progressive rock influences of 90’s new music and new trends in electroacoustics, sound poetry and improvisation.
