On December 13, 2008, Kim Myhr and his group The Silencers (Nils Ostendorf, Toma Gouband and Benoit Delbecq) will be featured on Radio France show À l’improviste, hosted by Anne Montaron. The concert, which is open to the public, will be broadcasted on January 24, 2009, and will be available on Radio France Website.

In a concert recorded by CBC Radio Two for national broadcast, Mike Essoudry and Linsey Wellman will present music inspired from their recent recording for Malasartes Musique. The concert will take place on Sunday December 14, 2008 at 2pm, at Freiman Hall in Ottawa.

The Damián Nisenson Trio, featuring Jean Félix Mailloux on double bass and Isaiah Ceccarelli on drums, will be performing at Dièse onze in Montréal on December 12, 2008.

The next Mercredimusics will feature Jean Derome, Robert Marcel Lepage, Pierre-Yves Martel and Sébastien Trahan on December 3, 2008 at Casa Obscura in Montréal. On the programme: improvised music on Les Aventures du prince Ahmed, a German film from 1926, considered to be the first full-feature animation film in history.

Francisco Lozano, Miles Perkin and Josh Zubot as well as Stephen Davidson, Luke Fowlie and Ryan Frizzell will be at Le Cagibi on Tuesday December 9, 2008 as part of the Mardi spaghetti weekly series for creative music.

On Sunday December 7, 2008, Jean Derome, Nicolas Caloia and Isaiah Ceccarelli will be featured at the Improvising Montréal series, a monthly concert series dedicated to improvised music.
