A collaboration between Studio XX and Club Transmediale, Magali Babin and i8u will present a duo during the “Maid in Cyberspace” event, to be held in Berlin on February 4, 2004. They will also be presenting this work during the next edition of Rien à voir (15), to be held in Montréal from February 11 to 15, 2004.

Mercredimusics is a series of concerts curated by Lori Freedman. Every Wednesdays, 8:30 pm at Casa Obscura (Montréal), Lori hosts intimate improvisation evenings. During the month, she will be joined by Bernard Falaise, Rainer Wiens, Martin Tétreault, Jean Derome, Malcolm Goldstein, John Heward, Danielle Palardy Roger, Joane Hétu and Diane Labrosse. Last Mercredimusics of 2003 is scheduled on December 10.

Productions SuperMusique presents 8 nights of new music in Montréal, from October 29 to November 14, 2003. 28 groups, 89 musicians with multiple CD launches. A first visit to Spain for the trio Les Poules. They will take part in the multi-disciplinary festival Sensxperiment at Lucena’s San Juan de Dios church (Cordoba) on October 24, 2003.

The three terrible turntablists Martin Tétreault, Yoshihide Otomo and Philip Jeck will rock the 3rd Göteborg Art Sounds (GAS-Festival) (Sweden) on October 14, 2003. Tétreault and Otomo then moves to North America for concerts in Québec October 28, Montréal October 29 and at famous Tonic (New York City) October 30.

The Casa del Popolo welcomes the return of Kaffe Matthews (electronics) Friday September 12, 2003. With special guests Martin Tétreault (turntable), Léon Lo (electronics) and Magali Babin (small amplified objects).
