A video installation by French filmmaker Dominique Blais starring trumpeter Gordon M Allen, Transposition (variations) will be presented at the Fonderie Darling from October 16 to December 7 2008. The opening will take place at the Fonderie Darling at 5pm on October 16.

Robert Marcel Lepage has composed the music for two documentary full-length films: PARIS1919 and The Art of Documentary. Three tv projects with France are also on their way. Furthermore, {nbio:lepage_ro} is two-time Gémeaux Prize nominee, this year: his film musics of Nestor et les oubliés by Benoit Pilon (music performed by Luzio Altobelli, Jean-Félix Mailloux, Yanik Cloutier, and Isaiah Ceccarelli); and Chez Schwartz’s by Gary Beitel (with Normand Guilbeault, Maxime Séguin, Claude Lavergne, Yanik Cloutier, and Sean Craig) have been selected.

Robert Marcel Lepage will give the Contemporary music interpretation workshop, from August 4 to 7, 2008, as part of the Orford Arts Center’s Music Academy in the heart of Mont-Orford national park (Québec).
