Fanfare Pourpour will be at Jardin de l’Amélanchier on June 28, 2007 in Longueuil to lead the parade entitled «Le bon côté des choses» as part of the garden’s inauguration. Designed as an initiation journey, Le Jardin de l’Amélanchier invites people to the discovery of a landscape of literature and plants, inspired by Jacques Ferron’s tale L’Amélanchier.

Alexandre St-Onge will launch his CD Mon animal est possible on the Alien8 label during a concert on June 15, 2007 at Casa del Popolo, Montréal.

The Trio Jean Félix Mailloux (Arden Arapyan, Jean Félix Mailloux, Jonathan Racine-Ménard) will present pieces from their album Aurores boréales, released on Malasartes label in 2006, as well as other more recent compositions, during a concert at Dièse onze in Montréal on Tuesday June 5, 2007. The Suoni Per Il Popolo festival will take place on June 1-30, 2007 in Montréal. One evening will be dedicated to Ambiances Magnétiques’s artists on June 17, 2007: Marie-Soleil Bélanger + Normand Guilbeault + Ensemble SuperMusique + Martin Tétreault + Nous perçons les oreilles (Joane Hétu, Jean Derome) will be at Casa del popolo for the occasion.

On May 31, 2007, the Galerie B-312 (Montréal) invites you to an event of improvised music with Jean Derome, Joane Hétu, Pierre Tanguay and their special guest coming from Europe, Catherine Jauniaux — whose nickname is… “human sampler.” You may expect a free, breezy and zestful improvisation from those musicans.
