Also, Brigitte Poulin’s Édifices naturels is a finalist in the Modern and Contemporary Music category. The Opus Prizes gala takes place at Salle Claude-Champagne, in Montréal, on January 25, 2009.

The Ensemble Transmission ensemble ({nbio:freedman_lo}, {nbio:gray_d}, {nbio:merkel_cl}, {nbio:pelletier_gu}, {nbio:poulin_br}, {nbio:trudeau_ju}) will be in concert on June 5, 2008 at the Music Gallery, in Toronto (Ontario), as part of the SoundaXis festival. On programme works by Boulez, Xenakis, Murail, Aperghis, and Vivier.

Édifices naturels by Brigitte Poulin is now avalaible. This 5th release of Collection QB label directed by the Bozzini Quartet is a tribute to the vitality of the composer-performer interaction.

Brigitte Poulin will launch her new CD Édifices naturels, tribute to the vitality of the composer-performer interaction, at the Chapelle historique du Bon-Pasteur on May 13, 2008. A short performance will take place between 5 and 7 pm. Édifices naturels is the 5th release of Collection QB label directed by the Bozzini Quartet.

On April 11, 2008, Lori Freedman will be in concert with the new sextet Ensemble Transmission ({nbio:pelletier_gu}, {nbio:merkel_cl}, {nbio:hannigan_sh}, {nbio:poulin_br}, {nbio:gray_d}). The ensemble will present two different programmes, focussing on the contemporary repertoire of Italian composers. It will take place at La Chapelle in Montréal.

Ensemble Transmission (with {nbio:poulin_br}, {nbio:freedman_lo}, {nbio:pelletier_gu}, {nbio:gray_d}, Thouin, Dyachkov) will present works by Boulez, Murail, Vivier, Sciarrino, Harman, Aperghis, and Grisey on February 8, 2008 at the Chapelle historique du Bon-Pasteur in Montréal.
