Be aware of the Festival des musiques de créations (FMC) where great artists are scheduled to perform. The festival takes place in Jonquière from May 17 to 26, 2007. Note that Antoine Berthiaume Sextet, Bernard Falaise, L’Hexacorde, Paul Plimley, P.O.W.E.R. and Rodéoscopique are some of the guests…

The L’Hexacorde guitar ensemble will perform at Galerie B-312 on February 15, 2007 during the Jeudis tout ouïe series. The sextet will play works by Erik Satie, Claude Vivier, and Toru Takemitsu, Amongst others… Don’t miss it!

Many DAME musicians will play live at the next Festival des musiques de création du Saguenay—Lac-Saint-Jean in Jonquière (Québec). The duo of Danielle Palardy Roger and Fred Frith will give a concert on Friday May 19, 2006 at the Pierrette-Gaudreault hall. The François Bourassa, Jean Derome, and Pierre Tanguay trio will be give a concert on Saturday May 20, also at the Pierrette-Gaudreault hall. Lastly, L’Hexacorde and the {nbio:lauzier_ph} {nbio:perkin_mi} {nbio:kuster_ro} trio will give their concerts on Friday May 26 at the Café-théâtre Côté-Cour.

The ensemble L’Hexacorde will launch its new recording on April 28, 2004 at O Patro Vys (Montréal).
