The folk-western music ensemble Rodéoscopique (formed by Antoine Berthiaume, Philippe Lauzier, Guido Del Fabbro, Mélanie Auclair, Pierre-Yves Martel, and Stefan Schneider) will be at Maison de la culture Frontenac in Montréal on Wednesday November 14, 2007.

The new album Agrégats by Guido Del Fabbro offers 13 pieces orchestrated for acoustic instruments with a touch of electronics, and performed by a shapeshifting ensemble. It also proposes a repertoire which has a foot in traditional folk music and another in avant-rock territory. Agrégats is an intense work performed by an unmatched ensemble, whose conductor will definitely surprise you.

Guido Del Fabbro will launch his album Agrégats on Monday October 8, 2007 at Le Divan orange in Montréal. • June 29 at 9 pm: Antoine Berthiaume avec Robbie Kuster, and Rémi Jean Leblanc, on Scène CBC/Radio-Canada Best Buy;
• July 1 at 9 pm: Guido Del Fabbro, at Cabaret JPR;
• July 2 at 10 pm: The Trio Derome Guilbeault Tanguay, at Upstairs Jazz Bar & Grill;
• July 6 at 9 pm: YUL, at Cabaret JPR;
• July 7 at 9 pm: Philippe Lauzier with special guest Benoît Delbecq, at Cabaret JPR.

Geneviève Letarte’s 3rd album entitled Âmes soûles gathers intimate songs that are seducing with their yeasty melodies, Latin rhythms, and their poetic-country tone. Third in the trilogy that started with Vous seriez un ange and Chansons d’un jour, this new production attests the artist’s maturity and the evolution of her relation with great musicians who follow her (Claude Fradette, Normand Guilbeault, Pierre Tanguay, and Guido Del Fabbro, Ivanhoe Jolicœur, Guillaume Dostaler, as guest artists).
