The Damián Nisenson Trio, featuring Jean Félix Mailloux on double bass and Isaiah Ceccarelli on drums, will be performing at Dièse onze in Montréal on December 12, 2008.

On Sunday December 7, 2008, Jean Derome, Nicolas Caloia and Isaiah Ceccarelli will be featured at the Improvising Montréal series, a monthly concert series dedicated to improvised music.

As part of the “Concerts/CD release” component of their Montréal concert season, Productions SuperMusique, in collaboration with DAME, will present two exceptional duos: a great moment in the here and now with Frith + Roger, as well as Côté + Ceccarelli, two quite unusual musicians. The concert will take place at Le Cabaret du Musée Juste pour rire on December 10, 2008.

Isaiah Ceccarelli, Pierre-Yves Martel and Évelyne Moser (France) as well as Jean Derome, Xarah Dion and Jean-Philippe Girard will be at Le Cagibi on Tuesday December 2, 2008 as part of the Mardi spaghetti weekly series for creative music.

The 7th edition of the Rencontres de musiques spontanées will take place on November 27 and 28, 2008 at Paradis in Rimouski (Québec). The programme will include Éric Normand’s Musique de Bataille (featuring musicians Raphaël Arsenault, Isaiah Ceccarelli, James Darling and Catherine S Massicotte), Virgule (with Gordon M Allen and Esther B), the duo of Alexandre Grogg and Isaiah Ceccarelli, as well as Le Grand Groupe Régional d’Improvisation Libre.

Bored with the future, Michel F Côté and Isaiah Ceccarelli meet and ask each other: what to do when we’re just two drummers? “We can be vulgar” was the answer. In short, this CD features the sound of objects being struck and stroked.
