“I have opened up a metamorphosis site. Once the film had been edited, we projected it on a distorting mirror, with which I could manipulate the image in real time, once I had mastered how to synchronize the distortions to the music. Then, I asked a graphic designer to create electronic distortions on other planes, like the ones you can see in the distorting mirrors at the zoo. We enter into a dreamland. The eye sharpens the ear, and vice versa. That’s how it goes. The music is an intergalactic means of transportation. And it is available to us.” Guy Girard
