Electronic music commissioned by Sylvain Émard Danse — but these tracks behave well stripped from their original use. Multiple sound sources (including samples from Fennesz, d’Oval, Tétreault/Falaise, Bernhard Günter, etc.), often lively, with complex arrangements. But it all seems to lack some depth. I need a second listen — the first one went by rather unnoticed, leaving me unsatisfied beyond the opening track Unit Vector in Vratsa, a 14-minute chunk that did catch my attention.
