Heady jazz improvisation led by the very talented percussionist Ratté. The playing is very tightly wound with fluidity that tempers its “difficulty”. The pieces that make up the 30 minutes of “Wreck’s Progress” employ synths, samples and prepared percussion resulting in a surprising restrained imploding of clicks, nicks and nacks.
