Rake, the Ottawa trio which debuted on Spool, has evolved into a 16-piece rollicking offspring of the Sun Ra Arkestra. Some originals and Some Ra are featured here. Listening to this, you can almost see the band leading the parade down the main streets of Guelph to bring the Guelph Jazz Festival to a close.
