Les états is one movement of the piece Préoccupant, c’est préoccupant, commissioned by Quatuor Bozzini and premiered in Montréal in 2015. This movement became a separate piece made up of nine states, like nine places or nine sensations. Each state uses a simple lexicon.

This piece was recorded live at the concert Les rapides as part of the 40th anniversary celebrations for Productions SuperMusique. Under my direction an extraordinary Ensemble SuperMusique brings my graphic score Les états to life. A remarkable experience!
