We could imagine that each guitar string is one thread in a piece of lace: 120 threads interwoven to make hemstitched lace, of the metal and electric variety. I wish to thank the people coughing in the hall who we could think of as the workers in the lace factory, as well as the occasional background noise which represents the clattering sound of lace weaving.
