Jeu de cartes

This text is unavailable in English.

Jeu de cartes est un jeu tout simple mais qui autorise une très grande mobilité. Composé pour douze joueurs, le jeu comprend quarante-huit cartes. Je laisse ici Malcolm en exposer le principe: There are four piles of cards, three of wich designate performance materials/activities — one with graphic notation, one with rythm notation, one with a single word in French — and one with a performance time sequence. Each musician picks one card from each pile; these will be the sources of their own musical activity. /… / Musicians begin playing around the time indicated on their (time) card to create a more fluid flow of ensemble sounding (extrait de son lexique).
