Lori Freedman, René Lussier, and Martin Tétreault will give a performance as part of the Revolutions: Turning the Tables on DJ Culture mini-festival that will take place in Waterloo (Ontario) from March 13 to 15.
As part of The Montréal High Lights Festival’s Montréal All-Nighter event, Bernard Falaise, Martin Tétreault and Giselle Webber will take part in the Cabina Obscura on March 1, 2008 from 10:30 pm at Cinérobothèque. John Blouin, Albert Roberge, and François Boulé will perform live from the projection room and the aforementioned musicians will design sound environment. (By the way, have you ever listened to the excellent Copie zéro… with similar themes.)
Finally! The albums of our best artists appearing in the Coda Magazine’s “Top 10” are now announced: Mike Chamberlain (Montréal) has included Phon-O-Victo by Martin Tétreault and Kid Koala, and in the Performance Highlights category Trio Derome Guilbeault Tanguay. As for Ken Waxman (Toronto), he has included Visions fugitives op. 22 by Quartetski. Yeah!
NFB’s CinéRobothèque presents La bande optique with Robert Marcel Lepage. On menu: discussion about improvisation and film music, followed by a live performance given with the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal students, Martin Tétreault, and John Blouin. This event will take place on January 24, 2008, at 7:30 pm.
