The Barnyard Records catalogue keeps growing with three new releases: It’s Only Life by Blah Blah 666; Toronto (Duets) 2007 featuring none other than Anthony Braxton and Toronto saxophonist Kyle Brenders; and Freedman, with Justin Haynes on ukelele and Jean Martin on suitcase.
Bernard Falaise and Jean Martin will take part in the Re:flux Festival of Music and Sound Art as part of the Barnyard Drama event on May 30, 2008 at Centre culturel Aberdeen in Moncton (New Brunswick, Canada).

The Ensemble Ad Hoc, bringing together 6 outstanding musicians selected throughout Canada (Guillaume Bourque, Christine Duncan, Jean Félix Mailloux, Jean Martin, Dani Oore, Jesse Zubot), will be on stage on April 18-19, 2008 as part of the La Chapelle’s Musiques nouvelles series. On April 19, a public rehearsal followed by disccusion about improvisation, and a jam session will precede the evening concert (4:30 to 6 pm).
Bernard Falaise, Christine Duncan, Colin Fisher, Lori Freedman, Jean Martin, Evan Shaw, and Scott Thomson will be in concert for a Barnyard Records label 3-CD Launch, amongst which Plumb. This event will take place on Sunday March 23, 2008 at Casa del Popolo in Montréal.
