100% Batterie! is a project imagined by Martin Tétreault and realized with the participation of Michel Langevin (Voivod), Marc-Olivier Bédard, Lydia Champagne (Terracine), Alex Groussset, Alexander MacSween, Jean-Sébastien Nicol (Gatineau), Danielle Palardy Roger, and Pierre Tanguay. The drummers will successively play the same solo inspired by a score written by Martin Tétreault that uses different sections of a Liverpool mythical drum player’s repertoire. At the end of the evening the musicians will get together to play a piece for 9 drums and 4 turntables. This event takes place on April 12, 2007 at the La Sala Rossa, Montréal. Listen to some audio clips of Snipettes!, Martin Tétreault’s latest album.
Inspired by his fascination for Ringo Starr, Martin Tétreault will present a drum solo with 4 turntables on June 2, 2006, part of the Mutek festival. Exceptionally joined by Alexander MacSween, his performance will be held at the Société des arts technologiques (Montréal).
