For another year, the Festival Voix d’Amériques collaborates with many musicians of whom Guido Del Fabbro, Bernard Falaise, Michel F Côté, Malcolm Goldstein, Diane Labrosse, Geneviève Letarte, Alexandre St-Onge… The festival begins next Friday, February 1-8, 2008, at Galerie Espace, Casa del Popolo, and La Sala Rossa in Montréal.

Geneviève Letarte will perform the songs on her album Âmes soûles during Coup de cœur francophone event on November 4, 2007. The concert will take place at Lion d’Or in Montréal (Isabelle Cyr is doing the first set).
Geneviève Letarte’s 3rd album entitled Âmes soûles gathers intimate songs that are seducing with their yeasty melodies, Latin rhythms, and their poetic-country tone. Third in the trilogy that started with Vous seriez un ange and Chansons d’un jour, this new production attests the artist’s maturity and the evolution of her relation with great musicians who follow her (Claude Fradette, Normand Guilbeault, Pierre Tanguay, and Guido Del Fabbro, Ivanhoe Jolicœur, Guillaume Dostaler, as guest artists). Geneviève Letarte, will launch her 3rd album entitled Âmes soûles and will offer a short performance on May 9, 2007 at Divan orange in Montréal. Âmes soûles gathers intimate songs that seduces with their yeasty melodies, Latin rhythm and their poetic-country tone. Later that evening, Rodéoscopique (Mélanie Auclair, Antoine Berthiaume, Guido Del Fabbro, Philippe Lauzier, Pierre-Yves Martel, Stefan Schneider) will give a show of experimental folk country music. Percussionist, composer and inveterate inventor, Pierre Tanguay will be at the Théâtre La Chapelle on February 2, 2007 at 8:30 pm with his friends Lou Babin, Diane Labrosse, Luc Proulx, and Martin Tétreault. He will be back the next day, February 3, with Geneviève Letarte, Monsieur Bricole, and the Fanfare Pourpour!
