Pianist Lee Pui Ming will give a solo concert at Toronto’s Distillery Jazz Festival (Ontario) on May 27, 2005.
November 18, 2004: Live Derome Hétu Lee Trio
Together on stage for the first time, improvisers Jean Derome (saxophones, flute, small objects, voice), Joane Hétu (alto saxophone, voice) and Lee Pui Ming (piano, voice) will roar on November 18, 2004, at La Sala Rossa (Montréal).
October 24, 2002: Lee Pui Ming, Ikue Mori and Martin Tétreault live in British-Columbia
Ikue Mori (percussions) and Martin Tétreault (turntables) worked together (with samplist Diane Labrosse) on the abrasive album Île bizarre. October 24, 2002, the duo will perform at the Vancouver New Music Festival and also October 25, 2002 at Victoria’s Open Space. Also performing at the New Music Festival, do not miss Lee Pui Ming piano solo on October 25 at the Scotiabank Dance Center.
June 21 – July 5, 2002: Live DAME musicians
Many DAME musician will be performing this summer. First, the Fanfare Pourpour will take part in Saint-Fortunat’s incredible music festival, June 21 and 22. Then, at the Festival international de jazz de Montréal, L’Orkestre des pas perdus will play outside from July 3 to 7. Also playing during the festival at the museum of contemporary arts, Les Projectionnistes July 3 and world renowned guitar player René Lussier July 6. This edition of L’OFF Festival de Jazz de Montréal also proposes plenty of DAME-related shows. Jean Derome will play at Lion d’Or June 27, July 3 and 5. Pierre St-Jak June 27. Rouge ciel June 29. May 2, 2002: Canevas for improvised music
Created around pianist Lee Pui Ming from Toronto, clarinettist Lori Freedman from Winnipeg, and percussionist Danielle Palardy Roger from Montréal, this concert series will highlight the participation of women in improvised music. Canevas 2002 presents four nights of free concerts, from May 2 to 4, 2002 at Calixa-Lavallée cultural center (Montréal).

February 23, 2002: Lee Pui Ming’s launches Who’s Playing
“Lee Pui Ming moulds piano and vocal into a gleeful avant-garde concoction that is all her own.” (Eye, Canada) Toronto resident Lee Pui Ming’s new CD, Who’s Playing, is a series of strong and invigorating piano, saxophone and voice improvisations recorded with musician and producer Joane Hétu. The album was launched at Toronto’s Music Gallery on February 23, 2002 with a concert the two performers and drummer Danielle Palardy Roger.
