Amongst the many artists invited at the 2010 Festival international de musique actuelle de Victoriaville (FIMAV), we noticed the presence of Érick d’Orion and Les Filles électriques on May 21 2010, Jim Denley, Philippe Lauzier Pierre-Yves Martel, Éric Normand, Kim Myhr and Malcolm Goldstein on May 22, 2010, as well as René Lussier, Lori Freedman, Martin Tétreault and Nancy Tobin on May 23, 2010.

September 18 – 19, 2008: 2 Evenings of Art of Noises in Québec City

To celebrate the 95th anniversary of the publication of the The Art of Noises manifest by Futurist Luigi Russolo, audio curator and musician Érick d’Orion has prepared 2 evenings of audio art at Salle Multi in Québec City. 10 audio artist will present a new work based on this important text. On September 18, 2008, artists are: Alexis Bellavance, Michel F Côté, Christian Calon, and Hélène Prévost. On September 19: A_dontigny, Nicolas Bernier, Diane Labrosse, the duo Catherine S Massicotte & Éric Normand, and Jocelyn Robert.

December 1 – 3, 2006: DAME Artists in Rimouski

Many DAME artists will participate to the third Rencontres de musiques spontanées (RMS3), held in Rimouski (Québec) from December 1 — 3, 2006. On December 1, Catherine S Massicotte, Brigitte Lacasse and Éric Normand will present their project Minus 3 followed by Érick d’Orion and his latest audio creation Téléphonie cellulaire. On December 2 a second double feature will be presented, this time with Les gars trans (a band featuring Frank Martel, Robin Servant and Éric Normand) and Cabina obscura featuring John Blouin and Bernard Falaise. Sunday, December 3 will see the launch of a new CD, 10 situations précaires, by James Darling, Lori Freedman, Gabriel Dionne, and Diane Labrosse. The CD launch will be followed by a presentation of Khôra, a work by Jean-François Laporte interpreted by Martin Ouellet.

June 30, 2006: Multimedia Performance by Gagnon, d’Orion in Québec City

Friday June 30, 2006, Antitube will present in the interior courtyard of the Musée de la civilisation (Québec City), the event “La Nuit de l’Aurore,” based on the 1952 melodrama and the real story it was based on. In addition to the presentation of his short experimental film Blockbuster History, Dominic Gagnon will be joined by Érick d’Orion for a audiovisual performance based on the images of the legend of Aurore.
