Larry Cramer (trumpeter, flugelhornist, producer) is known for his drive, creative vision, expert musical knowledge, and respect for the jazz tradition, as well as the tireless passion and commitment he brings to the many projects he produces. Cramer began his career playing with the bands of Shox Johnson and The Jive Bombers and Jim Galloway’s Wee Big Band. He was a founding member of Crazy Rhythm, a band that backed everyone from Eddie “Cleanhead” Vinson to Slim Gaillard. Cramer has been a member of the Jane Bunnett Quintet and other Bunnett bands and ensembles since the late ‘70s.
