January 31, 2011: Four DAME Nominees at Opus Prizes
Four DAME albums are nominated for the 2010 Opus Prizes. My 20th Century by Tim Brady is nominated in the “Disc of the Year — Modern and Contemporary Musics” category. The Manivelle by Pierre Labbé is nominated in the “Disc of the Year — Musique actuelle, Electroacoustics” category. Infininiment by the group Klaxon Gueule is nominated in the “Disc of the Year — actuelle and electroacoustic music.” And the Migration by the group Cordâme is nominated in the “Disc of the Year — world music.” The 14th Opus Prize Gala will take place on January 30, 2011 at the Salle Claude-Champagne, Université de Montréal.
April 1, 2010: Upcoming Concert by Cordâme in Montréal
Cordâme will be in concert on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at the Maison de la culture Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. The string trio is formed by Marie Neige Lavigne, Julie-Odile Gauthier-Morin, Jean Félix Mailloux and it cooperates with percussionist Ziya Tabassian and guitar player Rémi Giguère.
