Guillaume Bourque
Guillaume has studied classical clarinet with André Moisan and Jean-François Normand at the Conservatoire de musique in Montréal and Université de Montréal, plus jazz music with Frank Lozano at McGill University. He is a founding member of several music groups, including Sagapool (ex-Manouche) and the Ironico Orkestra duo, with whom he has recorded albums and performed in several jazz and world music festivals in Canada. He frequently participates to recordings for television shows, feature films, documentaries, short films, CD, and other projects with various composers and performers, such as Robert M Lepage, Jean Derome and Érik West-Millet. Guillaume is also a member of the contemporary music ensemble Chorum, the Bomata trio, and the group Absinthe, whose debut album will be out in March. More
