Artists Tommy Babin

Double-bass player Tommy Babin studied music at McGill University in Montréal. He has played with FACT, Sky Beneath My Feet, and the Joel Miller projects Playgrounds and Finding the River. He has regularly collaborated with a number of musicians and composers as well as working on his own projects, such as Benzene and Robosaur. He has been part of the recordings of the following compact discs: FACT: FACT (Effendi); Joel Miller:… and then everything started to look different (Effendi); Claude St-Jean: Les Projectionnistes and Copie Zero (Ambiances Magnetiques); Jorane: Vent Fou (Tacca) and 16mm (Tacca); Remi Bolduc: Renaissance (Effendi); Jeszse Raz: Pamietam (MMM); Monique Nordine: Not Just to But Over The Moon (MoZo); and Avalon: The Whispering Breeze (NuJazz).
