Chanson du fil
Pierre Cartier
Also recorded in ’89 and originally released on Amplitude, Chanson du fil was written in the same spririt as Les fleurs du tapis. An elaborate orchestration, two trombones were added to the original line-up, renders a more complex and more constructed music, featuring horns and reeds. Pierre Cartier is definitely a great musician ans an excellent composer, as can be hear in these two CD’s.
