Le royaume ou l’asile
André Duchesne
André Duchesne has created this music for the film Le Royaume ou l’Asile, directed by Jean and Serge Gagné.
The soundtrack itself creates distinct images through a flow of illusions of many different sound colours. Music, sound effects, voices and songs, this album suggests a voyage celebrating the beauty of the Saguenay’s fiords and brings us in s world of illusions.
Duchesne’s music has been coloring and haunting the soudtracks of many Quebec movie directors: André Forcier, Fernand Bélanger and the Gagné brothers. Electric jack-of-all trades, iconoclastic musician, Duchesne is, above all, a talented composer.
